Traditional Chemical Programs

Chemical based programs use synthetic fertilizers that provide nutrients and promote rapid growth. While this seems like a good idea, these materials can actually weaken your plant in a variety of ways.

1. Their quick release characteristics cause plants to put all their energy into top growth, at the expense of root growth and defense systems.

2. The fertilizers high salt content can also destroy beneficial soil life that is so vital to a healthy lawn and landscape.

These conditions can make your plants more vulnerable to various problems, and more dependent on toxic chemicals. See diagram

Our natural fertilizers add valuable organic matter and microorganisms that help liven up your soil and create health plants.
