Contrary to popular belief my accent originates from South Africa, not from ‘the land down under’ or England. I moved to Ohio permanently in 2011 in the culmination of courting a Chesterland native who now calls herself Mrs. Visser.
I chose Good Nature because I have an avid interest in Nature and ways to sustain it. I love working outside and by myself even though working within a team environment is also required at times. Having played rugby since I was ten certainly helped in this regard.
I obtained a BA degree majoring in Political Science and English at the University of Stellenbosch, in the Western Cape province of South Africa, and am planning on furthering my studies.
My job history is a varied one seeing as I have worked in the retail, service, security, publishing, and construction industries. In 2013 I was given the opportunity to take the helm at the Good Nature Akron branch based in Copley. This has been the greatest challenge of my short career in lawn care so far, but the ride has been relatively smooth because of other team members pulling more than their own weight.
In my free time I play board games with my wife Alaina, listen to loud music and read. For non-fiction I enjoy books about science and history and for fiction I read anything from science-fiction and fantasy to Southern Gothic fiction. I also enjoy watching most movies, British comedy shows like 'Fawlty Towers' and nature programs. I’m part of the Cleveland Eastern Suburbs Rugby Football Club and love playing and watching rugby when I get the chance to.
